During a whole day we experience lots of events, whether it is enjoyable or not. As well as we learn many things from it. All the information and memories is stored temporary in the hippocampus. When we sleep the part of the limbic area united with the cells of brain and chemicals that are produces by brain and help in transferring this information and memories in permanent memory files in the neocortex area. This procedure helps to retain information after it has been acquired. It simply helps in retrieve the information in the future when we need this information.

Mitochondrion is responsible for the production of the cellular energy. These energy plants are present in neurons including every cells present in the body. Since our body cells are hard at work for the whole day, they needs steady energy for making mitochondria an important part of the whole body and cells. When we sleep “energy plants” are going to be repaired and reserved in working condition.
Eating and sleeping are acutely connected to each other. Specific neuropeptides that control sleep also control eating. Leptin and ghrelin play a vital role in controlling appetite, also in communication between the brain, adipose cells and tissues in the intestines. Throughout the hours of sleep hormones are balanced and regulated. An imbalance of hormones can be a reason of eating problem disorders.
Libidos are completely dependent on neurotransmitter balance. At the time of sleeping hours our brain balances the production of over fifty five neurotransmitters that produce specific hormones includes; Gaba, serotonin, and dopamine, these all are responsible for healthy libidos levels.
Controlling hormonal balance
The two main pathways by which sleep affects the discharge of hormones are the hypothalamic-pituitary axes and the autonomous nervous system.
The discharge of hormones done by pituitary gland is considerably influenced by sleep. The regulation of pituitary-dependent hormonal discharge is partially mediated by controlling the activities of the hypothalamus which may induce pituitary function. At the time of sleep, these hypothalamic factors may be activated. The hypothalamus and pituitary gland are repaired in the hours of sleep. However, this process takes seven hours to be completed.
Around Hundreds of millions of cells that are present in our body are dying every day. When old ones die new ones are born and replace all the dead ones throughout the process of mitosis. This rebirth process is continually occurring. These dead cells should be removed; if not then they may make serious health issues which become chronic.
